The Mid 1960's

These Photographs were taken roughly between 1965 and 1967. Very few photos were taken between 1960 and my overseas tour in the Air Force. It wasn't until I got to Okinawa with all of its diverse beauty and the richness of its peoples that I again picked up my camera with any seriousness. Most of the photography was taken with my 2/1/4 Mamiyaflex C-33.

I believe the Zoo photos with Ray, Rita, Ray,Jr., and Dan were taken shortly after my return from Okinawa, probably the Spring of 66. The photos of Ed, dad, and the interior with mom, Martha and Clara were shot in Wisconsin at Bill and Pat Kirchherr's wedding.
